This pair of quail showed in the yard on May 4th, then the next day they were bold enough to come in and eat the seeds from the feeders. The male looks to be a Scaled quail, while the female looks like a Gambel's quail, or maybe a hybrid Gambel's - Scaled. They were only here for the two days and have not been seen since.
Here's a male Western Tanager that showed up one morning, these guys live here but aren't common.
